Clonal sequencer access

Illumina

"Next-generation" sequencing (NGS) is revolutionising genetics, genomics and systems biology.

Following the successful CR-UK evaluation, a clonal sequencing service based in the Leeds Genomics Services Labs is now available.

A pilot programme will be accessible for a limited period to CR-UK researchers and key partners at a cost of consumables only subject to brief peer review. This will cost £500 for a 175 Mbase run or £2,500 per 1.5 Gbase run.

Non CR-UK users will have access on demand at full economic costs (£900 per 175 Mbase run, £5,000 per 1.5 Gbase run) subject to availability.

We are developing new diagnostic methodologies based on NGS. See for example this presentation and a new software package for high throughput mutation analysis.
